Entering into a lease agreement can be a major on-taking. Prepare yourself for unexpected expenses by asking your prospective carrier the RIGHT questions.

Create an income and expense budget to monitor your business’s profit/loss.

Certain expenses will be covered by the carrier, that is an immediate savings to you. Find out who pays what by asking the carrier who covers, how much do they cover and what is the approximate expense of each of the following expenses:

• Credit Check
• Pre-Hire Background reports
• Orientation Expenses (travel, hotel, time, drug tests, physical etc)
• Lease Term
• New or Used Truck
• Previous Maintenance Records
• Qualcomm rental/usage/install fees
• Check Cashing Fees
• Legal Fees
